The Army Gliding Club (Upavon) have now installed an antenna array that will now receive; ADSB, Mode S/C, Flarm and Pilotaware. It will then transmit this data back to Pilotaware aircraft and over the internet to display the data on the Online Glider Network (OGN) . This means that Pilotaware aircraft will now be able to see our gliders without having FLARM installed into their aircraft!
In the future we look to install a ground radar station into the launch point to provide better ground Situational Awareness.
