As part of the British Gliding Association’s effort to introduce more women to the excitement of flying gliders, we will be opening our doors to military and civilian visitors on Saturday and Sunday 27th/28th April.
Trial flights with an instructor will be available at the special price of £10, and senior club members will be on hand to explain how full membership and ongoing training works. Although the Club is established around serving and former military people, we also have a large number of civilian members and provide the best value flying available across the south of the UK, with an impressive fleet of training and single-seat aircraft. Ongoing membership is available to all, subject to some conditions, with no age limit; our youngest member went solo at 14 and we have plenty of members who learned to fly after retirement!
