Wyvern has a tremendous all grass airfield on the edge of Salisbury Plain and is very active flying most weekends throughout the year, Wednesday afternoons and allocated weeks. Between March to October we also run seven week long ‘Ab Initio’ courses. These are predominantly aimed and open to Servicemen but surplus capacity is potentially available to everyone; irrespective of previous experience they are a fantastic start to your gliding career, weather permitting of course!
