Wyvern is the largest gliding club within the Army Gliding Association and provides gliding as a recognized sport and approved Adventurous Training activity to all Servicemen, retired servicemen and MoD civilians and by exception other civilians can be invited to join. It will also provide air experience flights for all those interested in finding out about the thrill of gliding. All instruction is carried out by BGA (British Gliding Association) Instructors.
The Army Gliding Club (Wyvern) is currently closed during the National Lockdown. The committee is constantly assessing the situations based on Government, Department of Transport, British Gliding Association, Adventurous Training Group (Army), and Army Sports Control Boards advice. We hope to be flying soon but if you would like to get in contact, please do so here: Click Here
